Spring 2023
Welcome Dear Reader and Friend!
Whew! What a difference time can make, huh?
Where are we at now? Well, I’ve got some fun steamy reads for you, my friends! Just A Phase was released in February 2023 and if you like a steamy slow burn that is worth the wait, you’re going to LOVE Maddie and Wes’ story. I had so much fun writing them (and their inner circle!). Despite Your Crazy is releasing April 20th, and if you’re looking for a fun slow burn where opposites attract and some forced proximity with a fresh and unconventional storyline, I’VE GOT YOU! Rachel and Ethan’s banter is so fun, and I think you’re going to love them.
Okay, enough of selling you on these releases—I really, really want to share with you what’s in the pipeline. I am SO excited (yes, SO) to release The Boys from Clear Lake series soon. Four childhood best friends, bound by loyalty, shared experiences, and a vow to hold each other accountable to become the men they want to be. This series touches on the importance of male friendships, mental health, and healing from past traumas. It’s the ultimate second chance for a group of guys you’re going to fall in love with (guaranteed!). While each story is different, each of the boys gets their own happy ending.
Same As Yesterday is a rockstar romance, friends to lovers slow burn and you will adore Noah and Jaime. Seriously. They’re maybe my favorite couple ever.
The Wickedest Ones is a villain redemption story about the high school “It Girl” returning to her small town after a series of unfortunate events and finding herself dealing with making amends. Vivian is my absolute favorite female character I’ve written. Period. End of story. And Reed? Ohhhhhhh boy. He’s an intense one, we’ll just say that.
Broken Like Me is an angsty sort of enemies to lovers with two gorgeous hearts connecting despite their flaws. Sunny and Ezra have a unique story, and you’re going to be rooting for them. Ezra is still stuck in my head, guys.
Finally, we have Carried Away. This is your classic falling for your best friend’s younger sister. I think you’ll like the fresh spin on their shared experiences and Bree’s character arc is one of my absolute favorites (second to Vivian!). We’ve got surfing, people. Surfing! Listen. The characters just tell me what they want, and Ty is a surfer. Need I say more?
Finally, you may have noticed that the Unexpected Love Series has been taken off of KU. Yes, friends. I’ve taken down I Spy, In Her Own Time, and The Good Stuff. Why? I’ll be re-releasing these on alternative platforms in the near future. KU has an exclusivity clause about work, and it’s a little writing experiment. Do not worry! All of my other books will be long-term KU reads. These three just felt right to experiment with. I personally love KU as a reader, and I strive to keep my books available on KU so others can enjoy the benefits of reading multiple books a month more affordably.
Looking forward to sharing The Boys from Clear Lake with you this early summer!
Xx, KC
Fall 2022
Welcome, Dear Reader and Friend!
I have so much news to share with you in the coming months. First, let me say that this journey of self-publishing is new to me. Book releases will be coming steadily, though. I’ve spent the last year writing (and writing and writing some more) and I’ve got you covered for some good steamy rom-coms and sweet steamy romances. Everything steamy, friends. As life should be.
Where are we now? Well, you can pick up I Spy and get a good start with the fun ahead. Did you enjoy Lauren and Sebastian’s story? Fantastic, because Lauren’s best friends, Stella and Carly, are ready to share their love stories with you, too. They’ll be dropping soon, and pre-order Carly’s story, In Her Own Time, today! Each book is an interconnected standalone–you can read in any order and independently, but I recommend reading Lauren’s story first (I Spy), Carly’s MUCH deserved happy ending (In Her Own Time), and finally, Stella’s sweet love story with the dashing Eli (The Good Stuff). Who wants more Nan in their lives? I sure do, and she’s in every single book.
What else is coming down the pipeline for you?
Oh, friends. FRIENDS! I am beyond thrilled to introduce you to cocky and stubborn Bennet Carlson as he falls for the unexpected woman who comes barreling into his small town like a tornado. You’re going to love Bennet and Lou’s love story in Tough Guy, coming in early 2023 (it’s alllllllll ready for you, friends)!
After that? You’re going to meet my absolutely favorite couple yet–Maddie and Wes. You’re going to swoon for sexy Wes Cohen and the hilarious friendship-turned-romance as two childhood friends find their way back to one another after life takes a slight detour for Maddie.
The rest of next year? Well, I’ll hold off on that for now, but let’s just say there are some really fun and funny surprises on the way.
Tl;dr–Get ready for more to come. I’m always writing, friends, and if you want to stay absolutely airtight and up to date, sign up for my newsletter and join the fun!
Looking forward to sharing with you all soon!
